2.3 Homework Year 10

Homework is due on Monday 17 November.

Some more exam questions to help you practice your exam technique. Remember, in the exam you will have 20 minutes to answer these four questions. You will need to spend roughly one minute per mark. For homework, I would expect it to take you a little longer, since you may have to look up the answers in your book.

a) What is ordination? (2 marks)

b) Outline different sources of authority for Catholics. (6 marks)

c) Explain why (Catholic) priests do not marry. (8 marks)

d) “Woman should be allowed to be ordained as priests.” Do you agree? Give reasons for your answer, showing that you have considered another point of view. Refer to Catholic Christianity in your answer. (4 marks)
